Using the Zipr platform

These terms describe the platform as built and have not yet been through legal review. Where they differ from a signed partner agreement, the agreement governs.
What this covers
Accounts
- Accounts are issued by an administrator. There is no self-registration.
- An account belongs to one person and is not to be shared. What is done with it is attributed to that person.
- Access is scoped: a partner account reaches that partner’s channels and commercial terms, and no other partner’s.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Channel authorisation
Publishing to a channel requires the channel owner to authorise it through Google. That permission is granted by them, is limited to uploading and managing videos on that channel, and can be withdrawn by them at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
You confirm that content you publish through the platform is content you have the right to publish. Each upload records the basis you state for that right.
Figures on the platform
Revenue and performance figures come from YouTube’s own reporting. YouTube reports a day or more behind and audits revenue at T-15, so a figure shown today may change. Every revenue surface states the lag beside the number.
A payout is calculated from the agreed share against reported revenue for a closed period. Nothing displayed before a period is closed is a statement of what will be paid.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to reach data belonging to another partner.
- Do not use the platform to publish content you do not hold the rights to, or to claim content that is not yours.
- Do not automate against the platform in a way that would breach YouTube’s API terms or exhaust the shared daily quota.
